The EDGE Foundation believes in the power of potential.
Our core mission is to identify and develop high-potential youth from Knoxville’s inner city, equipping them with the tools they need to create lasting positive change in their community. We do this through Education, Development, Guidance, and Empowerment, and one of the highlights of our annual calendar is the “Kickball with Curt & Friends” event.
What is Kickball with Curt & Friends?
KBWCF serves a greater purpose than only an annual exciting event.
It’s a celebration of unity, empowerment, and the limitless possibilities that lie within the hearts and minds of Knoxville’s underprivileged youth.
This event serves as a beacon of hope and opportunity, shining a light on the incredible potential that resides within our community.

Creating Avenues of Engagement
The EDGE Foundation firmly believes that to break the cycle of adversity, young people need opportunities to engage with others beyond their immediate community. KBWCF does just that by bringing together youth from diverse backgrounds, bridging the gap between inner-city youth and high-achievers who are dedicated to serving their community.
Youth Violence Prevention Week
Our annual Kickball with Curt & Friends event takes place during Youth Violence Prevention Week for a reason. We see youth violence as a grave threat to the future of our city, and we are committed to providing alternatives that steer our young people away from violence and toward brighter, more promising futures.
